Go on a scent journey inspired by the Golden Age of Piracy. Each collection box features 5 coconut wax snap bars in atmospheric scents designed to take you a fragrance journey inspired by literature and history. 

  1. A General History of the Robberies and Murders of the Most Notorious Pyrates. Published in 1724, A General History of Pyrates thrilled readers with tales of murder and mayhem on the high seas. Aged parchment & leather. Notes of teakwood, leather, cedar, patchouli & sandalwood.
  2. Blackbeard. The mystery and mythology of the most notorious pirate. Witnesses claimed he looked like the devil, his head wreathed in smoke from the lit matches in his beard. Rich dark chocolate and coffee swirled with smoke.
  3. The Witch of Wellfleet. The storm that sank Black Sam Bellamy’s ship while his lover Goody Hallett watched in horror. Banished from the village for adultery, watching her true love perish, branded a witch and chased into the marsh. Freshly turned earth, petrichor, the pungent ozone of a lightning strike, and rain.
  4. Hostis humani generis. Pirates were designated Hostis humani generis - enemy of all mankind, subject to capture and execution by any nation, anywhere on earth. A brief and brutal adventure, full of risk and the hopes of reward. The essence of a pirate - leather, vetiver & rum with notes of jasmine, bergamot and spicy pepper.
  5. Lowlands Away. I dreamed a dream the other night… My love she came, dressed all in white… The scent of longing, away at sea dreaming of a faraway love… She made no sound, no word she said… And then I knew my love was dead. Notes of tuberose, orange flower, jasmine, benzoin & sea air.

1.5 oz / 45 g coconut wax snap bars. Packaging is compostable and curbside recyclable. Melts are hand poured in small batches and may have slight variations.

Wax melt boxes are approximately 3.5 oz/99 g

How to Use

Place 1-2 pieces of snap bar (depending on the size of your warmer) in an electric warmer or tea light warmer. Each piece provides hours of fragrance - although you shouldn't leave your warmer on for more than 4 hours at a time. You can continue to remelt the wax in your warmer until the fragrance has faded.

Biodegradable Packaging

Many wax melts are packaged in hard plastic clamshells. Our snap bar melts are packaged in biodegradable (and compostable!) cellophane bags. Bags break down in a home composter within a few weeks.

Wax Melt Safety

To avoid injury, use wax melts only in tea light melters or UL listed electric warmers approved for wax melts. Read and follow the instructions that came with your warmer before using. Place your melter on a flat, heat resistant surface. Do not leave melters unattended while in use and keep away from children and pets. Do NOT melt on stovetop or in other non-approved appliances. Discontinue use if dish contains less than 1/2" of wax.
