While I started Ephemera Candle Company in 2022, my candlemaking journey began long before. Disappointed by many mainstream scented candles with fragrances that felt flat and artificial, I set out to create the kinds of candles that I would enjoy. Drawing from years of crafting experience and a passion for research, I began a quest for scents that would evoke memories, tell stories and most importantly not give me terrible headaches. Hundreds of candles later and with repeated requests to sell candles to friends and family, I launched Ephemera with my first candle, Burn it All Down to raise money for abortion access. 

Crafting the Experience: Our coconut wax candles and wax melts are carefully curated with fragrances that weave stories inspired by literature, folklore, and history. We use sustainable packaging and source our fragrance oils primarily from small women-owned businesses.
