As of today, this Court holds, a State can always force a woman to give birth, prohibiting even the earliest abortions. A State can thus transform what, when freely undertaken, is a wonder into what, when forced, may be a nightmare. Some women, especially women of means, will find ways around the State’s assertion of power. Others—those with- out money or childcare or the ability to take time off from work—will not be so fortunate. Maybe they will try an un- safe method of abortion, and come to physical harm, or even die. Maybe they will undergo pregnancy and have a child, but at significant personal or familial cost. At the least, they will incur the cost of losing control of their lives. The Constitution will, today’s majority holds, provide no shield, despite its guarantees of liberty and equality for all.

Candle Care & Safety

Candles should not be burned longer than 4 hours at a time. Keep candles away from flammable materials, children and pets. To protect your furnishings, always burn candles on a flat fire-resistant surface and never leave a burning candle unattended. For best performance, keep candles away from drafts. Trim the wick between each burn, and stop burning candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains.

How Do I Burn a Wooden Wick?

Wooden wicks are slightly different than a traditional candle wick. Wooden wicks are designed to mimic a crackling fire, so crackling noises are to be expected and enjoyed. When lighting your candle, holding the flame along the base of the wood wick helps to ensure that the entire wick lights. As with all candles, you should trim the wick between each burn - with a wood wick, you can gently pinch off and discard the charred pieces of wick before relighting.
